Is NetDesk really free?

Yes. The full software is open source and free to self-host, forever. The paid tiers add hosted convenience, unlimited sessions and team features.

What's the session time limit on the free tier?

Individual (unregistered) sessions are capped at 60 minutes; simply reconnect to continue, or sign up / upgrade to remove the limit — the same model RustDesk uses.

Do you see my screen?

Never. Sessions are end-to-end encrypted; even the relay server only sees opaque encrypted bytes.

Can I use it commercially?

Self-hosting is permitted for commercial use under the open-source license. For managed/hosted commercial use, choose Pro or Business.
