Privacy Policy

NetDesk is built privacy-first. This policy explains what the hosted service at netdesk.space collects. If you self-host, none of this applies — your data stays entirely on your own server.

What we cannot see

We can never see the contents of your remote sessions. All screen, input, file and clipboard data is end-to-end encrypted between the two endpoints; our relay only forwards opaque ciphertext.

What the hosted service stores

• Account data: your email and a salted password hash (PBKDF2), if you create an account.
• Device registry: the IDs and names of computers you bind to your account, and online/offline status.
• Operational logs: connection timestamps, IP addresses and coarse events for security and abuse prevention, retained for a limited period.

We do not store your host passwords, session contents, or screen data.

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only as required by law or to operate the service (e.g., our mail provider for verification emails).

Your rights

You may access, export or delete your account data at any time from the console, or by emailing privacy@netdesk.space.
